On Saturday, August 11th Nathan and Anna vowed to spend the rest of their lives together in the same park that Nathan asked Anna if she would marry him. It was such a beautiful sunny day, the weather was absolutely perfect in Almonte Ontario. Nathan and Anna's love story is anything but ordinary and you can read all about it here.
Nathan and Anna both got ready in the same house, which made my job a whole lot easier as I was on my own photographing the day. They got ready at Pinehurst Manor Bed and Breakfast, a gorgeous getting ready location with tons of natural light!
Do you remember Anna's best friend who also happened to be Nathan's sister? Well, this is Emma, best friend, maid of honor, and now sister-in-law! I think almost every girl's dream is to have their best friend become their sister.
How gorgeous is this bouquet? It is honestly my favorite bridal bouquet so far in my 2 years of photographing weddings full time.
When Nathan and Anna described where the ceremony would take place this is exactly what I had imagined. The ceremony took place at Mill of Kintail Conservation Area just outside of Almonte, ON.
I don't normally put family photos into blog posts but I couldn't resist, I just love the way the light streams through the trees and how even though just meters away from where the ceremony took place, it looks like a different location.
There's something about men and flowers.
When Anna asked if I'd be down with them walking out onto the rocks in the middle of the stream I got so excited, I absolutely love adventurous couples, they keep my job fun and exhilarating!
The reception took place at Town Hall in downtown Carleton Place.
The cake and cupcakes were made by one of Nathan's uncles who owns a bakery in Ireland. How good do those cupcakes look? And how cute is the high fiving bride and groom cake topper! There were also photos of Nathan and Anna growing up all over the reception hall, one of my favourite personal touches.
Overall it was a beautiful day full of love, laughter, friends, and family. I am so honoured that Nathan and Anna allowed me to be apart of their wedding day, I enjoyed every second of it, I wish you both the best in your marriage and look forward to the time we will spend together in the future, I am so blessed to have the two of you as forever clients.
