Claudiu + Kate

I’ve known Kate for a few years now and when she first told me that she and Claudiu were talking about marriage, I was over the moon. When I first met Kate I wondered where she had been all my life; we have very similar personalities and we see things very similarly as well, which as you can imagine when we’re together, it’s always a good time. Kate is bright, kind, and down-to-earth, with the biggest heart; when Kate is around Claudiu she lights up, and the way Claudiu looks at Kate, well, it just melts my heart. They met through a mutual friend, went on a date, and the rest was history as they say.

For their engagement session we went on a multi-location adventure starting at Dundurn Castle and ending at Princess Point in Hamilton, ON. For years I have wanted to shoot at Dundurn Castle and I was so excited to get to be there with an old and a new friend. Check out some of my favorite shots from our little adventure.

A location change is a great excuse for an outfit change! In some senses it’s almost like a second shoot, and you get even more photos to choose from when it comes to invitations, your wedding website, and my personal favourite; decorating the house!
