With less than a month until their wedding day Jonathan, Melanie and I set off on a small hike to capture their engagement photos. We hiked a secret trail in the heart of Kettleby, through the forest to a clearing. Melanie and I have always known of each other because we know a lot of the same people, but our paths never really crossed until last May when we officially met in British Columbia at mutual friends wedding. I met Jonathan later on that night at the reception, and I remember how lovingly he looked at Melanie. I figured the next time I saw them they would be engaged; and well, here we are. In just a few short weeks these two will be saying “I do” in front of family at their intimate park wedding, and I am so beyond excited!
