A Football Engagement at Guelph University

In the first stages of planning their engagement session, Michael and Mary knew they wanted to include one important thing. Football. Your engagement session is yours. There's no rulebook, checklist, or guidelines that you need to follow—other than being true to yourselves. Picking a unique location that is meaningful to you and your partner, like the football stadium at Guelph University, is a great way to ensure your engagement photos are more personal and special. You'll end up looking back at your engagement photos with warmth and a sense of nostalgia.
When I first got to planning Michael and Mary's engagement session, I had big dreams of big fields, like the BMO field in Toronto, ON. Sadly, due to COVID and the restrictions at the time, BMO Field was not an option. But your girl is resourceful and got in contact with the wonderful humans managing the Gryphons Alumni Stadium at Guelph University. We were a go. As amazing as it would have been to have bagged the BMO Field, Guelph University was the right fit for Michael and Mary because Michael worked on campus and Mary is an alumna!
I was on a creative high while capturing Michael and Mary in such an out-of-the-box engagement session location, which in turn has led to some of my favourite images.
