Jake & Breanna 04.28.23

Weather in April can be super unpredictable, and Jake and Breanna’s wedding day was no exception. Originally, they intended to have their ceremony outside but chilly winds and rain changed those plans. Luckily, the rain held off long enough for their first look under the willow tree, followed by both wedding party and family photos. Having a first look with your partner before your ceremony can really open up your timeline; taking more photos before the ceremony equals less after and more time with your guests. Simple math.

The Carrying Place Golf and Country Club staff did an incredible job at transforming their indoor dinning space into a moody and romantic ceremony space. In fact, I really enjoyed working at the Carrying Place, the staff were kind and helpful, the food was amazing, and the space was very enjoyable to photograph. After the ceremony we took advantage of a break in rainfall to do some more Bride and Groom portraits, but now as Mr. & Mrs!

Now, I don’t want to go into the full blown play-by-play of the day so I will end here. But before I do, I have to special mention the line dancing that was taught near the end of the night. I am a huge fan of making your wedding your own and giving your guests an experience they will always remember.

Did you miss seeing Jake and Breanna’s sunny engagement session? Fear not, you can check it out here.
