Marc + Emma
Ah, July; the warmth, the sunshine, the buzz and excitement of summer in the air.
My wedding season is in full swing, and they fill my weekends with love and laughter; cheesy, but true. I met Marc and Emma in the middle of the week in the evening at Pinhey’s Point in Ottawa, ON. I absolutely love coming back to Ottawa for work, as I went to college in Ottawa and started my career there before moving back to the GTA.
I first met Emma a couple years ago at Emma and Drew’s wedding in Bristol, Quebec (you can check out their wedding day here.), where Emma was a bridemaid. Emma squared, as I called them. I was over the moon thrilled to hear that Emma was engaged, and I was honoured that she wanted me to capture her wedding day. I love being able to reconnect with wedding parties. I meet some really cool people, and sometimes it’s a bummer when you think you’ll never get to see them again.
Overlooking the Ottawa River, Pinheys Point has so much to explore, with a handful of beautiful old buildings, some open fields, and a small beach front, the creativity just flows. Check out some of my favourite shots from Marc and Emma's beautiful summer evening engagement session.

I am so excited for their wedding in October 2024; Ottawa couples and weddings will forever have a very special place in my heart.
