Emma & Drew 10.10.21

Emma and Drew got married in January of 2021 in P.E.I., where Drew was born and raised. Emma was born and raised in Quebec and when she moved to P.E.I the last thing she expected was to find the love of her life. Because COVID restrictions were very tight in P.E.I, they weren’t able to have their wedding day filled with family and friends. Unlike a lot of other couples who decided to wait for restrictions to be lifted to get married, Emma and Drew decided to get married now and celebrate later.

On Thanksgiving weekend family and friends came from near and far to the small town of Bristol Quebec, to celebrate Emma and Drews's commitment to each other. Ironically enough, Bristol Quebec was the place I photographed my very first wedding 7 years prior on Thanksgiving weekend, talk about full circle. The ceremony was held in a small park overlooking a lake that Emma would go to with her family as a kid. The reception was held outside under the stars in the backyard of Emma’s parent’s farm. It was a really relaxed evening filled with good food, speeches, cow chips - IYKYK, bonfires, sparkles, and of course a dance party.
