Peter and Shasta’s wedding day was short, sweet, and intentional. The two tied the knot after over a decade together at Joia on Main in Newmarket, ON, with family and close friends. P&S shared a first look on the steps outside the EventMrkt (a personal favourite wedding venue in Newmarket, mainly because it is where I held my own wedding reception!) before their ceremony.

Their Ceremony was about 5 minutes long; another friendly reminder that your wedding is your wedding and you can do whatever you want. Following their ceremony, and after photos with guests, and a few bride and groom portraits, Peter and Shasta joined their guests and enjoyed some food and some great conversation. Simple, but beautiful. I am so grateful to have been trusted with capturing this beautiful wedding afternoon.
